I’m so thrilled to teach you a simple way to make french fries with either jicama or Yukon Gold potatoes! I don’t know about you, but I always enjoy a crispy, delicious snack.
This recipe is pretty straightforward, and you can choose how much or little you want of each ingredient depending on how many servings you’d like to make. Personally, I love to use our Ice Pressed® Extra Virgin Olive Oil for this recipe!

Ingredients
- Jicama or Yukon Gold Potatoes
- Olive oil
- Garlic powder
- Dill weed
- Dried chives
- Dried parsley
- Pink sea salt
Directions
- Fill up a pot of water and place it on the stove to boil.
- Peel and slice your jicama or potatoes into matchstick-size pieces. The smaller the fries, the crispier the surface area will be!
- Pour olive oil into a bowl and add all seasonings. Stir to combine. Tip: This makes a delicious dressing for salads, too!
- Once water is boiling, pour in your jicama or potatoes. Boil potatoes for 3 minutes or jicama for 10 minutes. Strain your jicama or potatoes and then mix with olive oil dressing.
- Bake your fries in the air fryer or convection oven at 400? for about 10 minutes.
- Serve and enjoy!
