Ingredients
- 14 oz firm tofu, drained and cubed
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- Cooked brown rice or quinoa for serving
Directions
- In a bowl, toss the cubed tofu with cornstarch until evenly coated. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and add sesame oil. Once hot, add the tofu cubes and cook until golden brown on all sides.
- Remove the tofu from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and grated ginger, stir-frying for about 30 seconds until aromatic.
- Add the broccoli florets to the skillet along with a splash of water, covering to steam for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Return the tofu to the skillet and pour in soy sauce. Toss everything together and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Serve over cooked brown rice or quinoa and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
